We have an exciting opportunity for a short piece of work to be undertaken and completed by the end of March. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in ultrasound, signal processing or in developing your research skills and profile.
The role of Research Assistant is based in the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences. The post offers the opportunity to contribute to the Swallow Vision research project, which focuses on developing ultrasound evaluation of swallowing (USES) as a new clinical tool for swallowing assessment.
The role holder will primarily be involved in analysing previously collected ultrasound data. The role holder will be responsible for planning their workload in liaison with the Principal Investigator; the role holder will be expected to exercise judgement and initiative when dealing with problems and contribute positively to the research team.
